What we collect when you enquire, order or visit this site, why, who handles it, and your rights.
Pactis is a trading name of Pactis Partners Limited (company number 16764215), which is the controller of personal information collected through pactis.co.uk. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, firm, work email, what you are interested in, quantity, timing, how you heard about us, any offer code and your message.
- Orders: your name, email, phone number and billing address, and the delivery address. Card payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your card details.
- Gift recipients: if you send us a list, the names and addresses of the people receiving gifts and the wording of their notes. Please only send a list you are entitled to share with us for this purpose.
- Site visits: see Cookies below.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal: steps taken at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
- To make, pack and deliver your order, including to each recipient: to perform our contract with you, and our shared legitimate interest in the gift arriving.
- To keep accounting and tax records: our legal obligation.
- To measure which adverts bring visitors and orders: only with your consent (see Cookies).
Who handles it
Payments: Stripe. Enquiry and order emails: Resend and Microsoft 365. Website hosting and cookie-free visit counts: Cloudflare. Deliveries: our courier, which receives only the delivery name, address and phone number. Only if you accept cookies: Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram adverts). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under their own safeguards. We do not sell personal information or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to two years after our last contact.
- Orders and invoices: six years, as UK tax rules require.
- Recipient lists: deleted 90 days after delivery, unless you ask us to keep a list for future sends.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
- Always on, because the site needs them: your basket and your cookie choice, stored in your own browser. Cloudflare counts visits without cookies.
- Only if you press Accept: Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta pixel. These set cookies so we can see which adverts bring people here and which lead to orders.
Changed your mind? Reset your cookie choice and the banner will ask again.
